INCURSIONS
PRE-SCHOOL
This session focuses on interactive ways of learning pedestrian skills to stay safe in any situation. The children will explore various activity stations, set up with toys and equipment to play, engage and familiarise with road safety.
3.5 - 5 years old.

PRIMARY SCHOOL
Starting with a preliminary interactive talk about road safety, students will then practice road safety skills. Equipment is set up for the children to engage and explore road awareness, while in the schoolyard or classroom.
5 - 8 years old.
*Limit of up to 30 children per session
LONGER SESSIONS
Interactive sessions suitable for all ages and groups, including CALD groups. Demystify and clarify the rules and recommendations about road safety. We discuss topics including pedestrian skills, passenger safety, car seats, cycling and helmets.
We provide evidence-based facts, practical information and resources to keep adults and children safe on the roads.

Hi, I'm Tracy, the director of Stop Look Listen Think. We are excited to be presenting Road Safety Incursions! We are passionate about bringing road safety news, skills and awareness to our young children, staff and parents. Enjoy our fun, engaging, interactive sessions, at your venue, no matter what the weather!
We come to you! Now that traffic has increased again, it’s a perfect time to remind everyone about the safety issues around roads, and reducing potential dangers. The incursions focus on holding hands, safe passenger behaviour and safe riding skills. We believe continual road awareness best practices reduce injuries and saves lives. Every aspect is underpinned by Stop Look Listen Think!
The advantages of our incursions: save you time, reduce the extra transport costs, staffing and paperwork that are necessary for excursions and align with the EYLF framework. This a great opportunity to include road safety into the curriculum, guiding children to being and becoming safe and independent road users.

She explained different ways we can keep ourselves safe when riding our bikes or playing near any roads!
